(1) For most people that use the services of clergy in their wedding ceremony, the understood amount is a minimum of $60 which is a basis depending on the giver, the ministers time and the location of the wedding. Now, if you enjoyed his service you may give more if you so wish.

(2) Yes, the minister's fee is considered an offering to his perticular ministry and church. An offerning is a traditional donation or "pledge" which is dependent on your generosity and extravagance of you the giver. Since ministers are not paid for their services as an employee, it has become an understanding that a minister, being a primary necessity to your wedding, should be deserving of your support through the gift they receive from you. We will provide you an envelope for your desired gift.
